VICES: METAPHYSICS OF OBASANJO'S MANIPULATIVE SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL RELATIONS.

What an interesting week of discourses in Nigeria, discussions ranging from Restructuring, Killer Herdsmen and Obasanjo's epistolary addressing what he perceived as the failure of governance in Nigeria and most especially unforgiven remarks about mismanagement concerning @APCnigeria administration. I want to vehemently proclaim here that I disagree with Obasanjo's verdict regarding the performance of @mbuhari's administration. However, he is entitled to his opinion but I am of the view that he has no moral right whatsoever to critique Muhammadu Buhari administration given his own antecedence pregnant with brigandages, corruption, nepotism and abuse of the fundamental rights of Nigerian citizens with massacres in Zaki Biam and Udi, Haliburton, Siemens, Third term agenda, Kidnapping of governors and summarily impeaching them via unconstitutional means, Influence peddling and Criminal privatization of government properties and the list of impunity is endless.



In these melee of discourses I heard that some so called Yoruba elders knock minister for campaigning for Buhari. Rubbish!!! Who made them elders? People just arrogate titles to themselves anyhow in Nigeria. The moment they form themselves into a political talking shop, journalist in Nigeria just arrogate a grandiose label to them, that is one of the fertilizers feeding Obasanjo the navigator from Ota and the Oracle of Owu with condescension or pomposity.

I have said it severally that Obasanjo is a Political Ebola, and we should not allow him to infect our political system come @2019 with his explosive contagiousness but politicians in Nigeria do not take heed of such admonitions. We have ourselves to blame, most times I am baffled when politicians ''herd'' themselves to Ota on pilgrimages to get political anointing from a godfatheristic oracle of Owu who has pernicious addiction to hypocrisy. I hope politicians would stop this disorderliness now.

There is nothing new in Obasanjo's letter. I have written severally on the subject matter on my blog. However one is confronted with gullible Nigerians who felt the message is the most important, but I disagree because the messenger is equally very important in any communication, a discredited messenger would come out uninteresting to a discerning mind like a rogue pontificating about wrongness of stealing.

One of the reasons why we are in this mess in Nigeria is our failure to understand that the messenger is essential in delivery because a corrupt messenger would manipulate the message to his/her advantage and that is Obasanjo's trademark. Also one of the major reasons we often elect crooks in Nigeria is because we place emphasis, importance on their messages rather than looking also at the character behind the veil. Succinctly put we like to be deceived. Our gullibility is beyond redemption.

Obasanjo's letter to @mbuhari is like the case of Baboon calling Bonobo an ape. Obviously it is Obasanjo's delusion concerning his omnipotence which is a reflection of the folly in Obasanjo's self-righteousness that made him think he can determine who becomes president come @2019

We made Obasanjo feel the need to constantly remind people of their imperfection because we hero-worshiped him with the constant bombardment of our populace with disingenuous view of Obasanjo's unlimited power and influence while constantly denying Obasanjo's imperfection. This scenario has created an ego tripper per excellence with an unquenchable urge to satisfy his pseudo-perception of moral superiority by riding on the populace perceived season of discontent.

This pseudo-perception of moral superiority has led to personality disorder in Obasanjo with an aggravated senile neurochemical disequilibrium leading him to pathological need to destroy others for self-aggrandisement. This is another level of senile derangement, Obasanjo needs help!!!

I know most gullible Nigerians would not look at Obasanjo's behaviour from my periscope but I have been observing the man lately and from my observation, Obasanjo has forgotten that we are all travelers interpreting our world. We are all fulfilling our existential experiences and that there is no single narrative that can elucidate the maple leaf of life. You are not God. You are not Nigeria. You are imperfect. The future of Nigeria is not in Ota nor Owu. Look deep and you will see the achievements of @MBuhari.

Obasanjo grand design cannot fly because it lacks philosophical foundation that is unique. Moreover, it will be populated by carpet crossers, crooks and sycophants looking for political vehicle for selfish goals. This grand design is looking more like Emu, running fast but fail to achieve flight, remember Nigeria is not Zimbabwe, equally remember what John Dramani Mahama told you, think twice because China, Germany, USA, UK, France, would not support your political coup this time around.

Nigerians we need to understand the underpinning metaphysics of Obasanjo's actions and inactions in order to take the veil off the face of this cancerous character and his Coalition for Nigeria. Nigerians be circumspect of Obasanjo's holier than thou epistle, remember he is part if not the soul of our national disgrace, problems and underdevelopment given his administrative tyranny, corruption while in power. He is a selfish man that foisted two ineffectual buffoons on Nigeria.

Immanuel Kant in his epistolary conversation Religion within the Bounds of Bare Reason made us understand that we have freedom for the will which is unique in nature & that an incentive can only move the will to an action only if and insofar as the individual has incorporated it into his maxim

The metaphysics of Obasanjo paints a picture of arrogance and mean-spiritedness. A failure to decipher electoral history of Nigeria properly would lead to his fall from grace. Obasanjo has incorporated arrogance, mean-spiritedness into his maxim as a general rule with which he conducts himself, this is obvious from the latest letter written to @mbuhari. This is no time to celebrate carpet-crossers because they are not the new Nigeria we want, they are stooges of Obasanjo.

Immanuel Kant in his metaphysics of Morals made us to understand that an arrogant man like Obasanjo claiming superiority and extraordinary performance by deliberate juxtaposing of the inadequacies of his successors with his "perceived success" is a man without virtue. Do you want Obasanjo to lead you astray again on the basis of his claim to pseudo superiority and extraordinary performance? I do not want to be part of the jamboree with an internal combustion to perpetuate Obasanjo's hunger for power and control.

We have moral disorderliness in Nigeria because of our hazy memories of Obasanjo's antecedence, should I say Historic Amnesia concerning dearth of good judgement when it comes to leadership choices from Obasanjo. Nigerian youths do you want to travel this route again?

Obasanjo's lingering presence on our political landscape is also an indictment and a reflection of what Alasdair MacIntyre call The Absence of Meaningful Moral Choices. This is one of the reasons why we have an arrogant man demands from others the respect he denies them. Have you read the letter to @mbuhari. Obasanjo's "rantship" depicts a man with the mindset that he is entitled to treat others with contempt. It is high time that Nigerians give him equal pound of his own flesh.

People like Obasanjo can go around pontificating because our nation, polity has allowed, encouraged cover-up of ex-Presidents impunity, corruption and theft with grand immorality. It is time for @MBuhari to open up Obasanjo's dossiers of influence peddling and abuse of power. I mean how do we explain his unbridled arrogance. An arrogant man who goes around bad-mouthing others with impunity needs no protection. It is time to dig deep and expose this cancerous growth. Nigerians don't buy into Obasanjo's jaundice, he doesn't believe any of those things written on that piece of paper. He will betray his own movement.

His Coalition for Nigeria movement is another vehicle to hijack the momentum building up in the nation for his selfish hunger for control and domination of the political space. Thanks for your epistles but we don't need you to play any role come @2019 political engagement.

What we need in Nigeria are not Obasanjo's pseudo reformist rather we need a revolutionary change that is bound to sweep Obasanjo and his cohorts out of our political space. Most individuals in the coalition are there to advance and consolidate their political/economic interest. Remember, Obasanjo destroyed MKO Abiola politically in concert with some South-West traitors for self-preservation. Please do not allow him to destroy @AsiwajuTinubu political legacy with the imposition of his Concubine picked up from a catastrophic laboratories of his coalition.

I heard from grapevine that Olagunsoye Oyinlola is their spokesperson and coordinator, this is laughable, a man who failed woefully in Osun State pushed forward to represent an Old wine in new bottle. Is there anything new here? NO!!! The same corruption, ineptitude and bad judgement of Obasanjo in foisting ineffectual buffoons on Nigeria.

This movement is about control, relevance for Obasanjo. He has started with the wrong class prefect, recycling his corrupt errand boys and girls. The movement is a failure ab-initio. We will fight this movement to a standstill. This is the time for government to expose Obasanjo, pay him back with his pound of flesh because he has decided to get dirty, rubbishing the achievements of every President after him. Obasanjo view himself as the only Infallible, Omnipotent ex-President in Nigeria.

Time to demystify him and let him know that he is a spent force in the political dynamics of Nigeria.

I am concluding with this statement that Nigerians must stand firm, weather the storm, because the good new times are coming but it is going to happen without Obasanjo's Emotivism and Manipulative social relations.
