ASO ROCK: POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY OF DOGS EATING DOGS.
When a snaking paradigm has taking place in a meandering political architecture then it becomes a very difficult assignment to maintain stability. This is because the superstructure or the organization foundation is undergoing a process of liquefaction due to internal stressors and stimulus generated by political gladiators rooting for dominance.
Recently, events surrounding the management of Mr. president's health status is looking more like a competition and a ruthless one indeed wherein political gladiators took to online media and the ubiquitous social media for theatrics of grandstanding about Cabalism in Aso Rock acting as a rock of Gibralta preventing anyone and everyone from gaining quality access to Mr. President.
I personally discountenance such Jankara narratives tending toward DOGS EATING DOGS, when in our unravelling circumstance like this what political gladiators should be doing is to engage in thorough introspection rather than the unending innuendo blame game of Cabalism in Aso Rock.
There will always be powerful group(s) of people around the corridors of power or outside the corridors of power irrespective of the nomenclature given to such group(s). What is important here in this case is the question whether those people are following the dictates of Mr. President in respect of the management of his health and the need to have rest as adviced by his physician.
Let us cast our minds back to the fact that the President said when he returned from United Kingdom that he will need rest and likely go for further medical examination. Therefore, what is all these hullabaloo and accusations bandied around by mischief makers and their cohorts concerning Cabalism in Aso Rock, please let Mr. President rest and stop looking for a needle in a haystack.
My advice to the mischief makers is to adopt this quote as their guiding principle.
"The dog philosophers have established a basic principle. The principle is that if you can't find what you're looking for use your nose. Simply sniff around. If this doesn't find what you are looking for, start digging. If you still haven’t found it then dig deeper. If you find yourself in too deep, stop digging. Climb out of the hole, lie down on the grass and just rest a bit. Sometimes we find what we're looking for when we stop looking."- Stanley Coren Ph.D., F.R.S.C. Canine Corner.
Let sleeping dogs lie. Stop making up stories about doom and gloom just like Chief Bisi Akande's outburst that has worsened the mutual suspicion within the political architecture. Mr. President's health status should not be used as a machinery for dichotomization or instrumentarium for polarization along geopolitical lines.
Mr. President @Mbuhari is alive and he knows what he wants concerning the management of his medical conditions let us give him the time to rest. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
