MURDER SHE WROTE: FRATERNITY OF BLOOD AND SORORITY OF DEATH.
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War
I am not a Military strategist neither am I in the Nigerian Army intelligence gathering unit. However, the quote above says a lot about the bellicose situation in the Niger Delta and the agressive posturing of the Niger Delta Avengers resulting in the bombing of various Oil and Gas infrastructures with daily reference to the American doomsday prediction of the break up of Nigeria... I wonder whether they are motivated by such prediction and supported clandenstinely or is this just a criminal ragtag militancy spur by the material, financial accumulation that such activity can generate or as some people say marginalization is at the core of this latest agitation.
Niger Delta Avengers has declared war on Nigeria in collaboration with IPOB posited on flimsy marginalization arguments wrapped up in braggadociousness they are talking like Methuselah an all knowing wise oracle given divination to Omo Adari Hurun. I have the impression that they think or feel that they are the only one in Nigeria marginalised.
Let us be clear about the fact that every ethnic group in Nigeria has alleged marginalization in the annals of our development. Please, do not get me wrong I am not denying injustice as per Niger Delta but to declare war on Nigeria is a matter beyond who knows what the streets are vomiting. Pardon me for my language.
“If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected .” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War
This is the strategy I hope the Nigerian Army may adopt to annihilate this cancerous growth in our polity.
@DELEMOMODU WHO IS MISLEADING PRESIDENT BUHARI?

Honourable Dele Momodu, I enjoyed your succinctly written piece but I often wonder who these people are who were misleading President Buhari.
Note: You often write about people misleading or given the President wrong or bad advices, that to me is the height of arrogance and self aggradisement because such statements from you give the impression that the admonitions, advices given in your write-ups are better than those given by faceless individuals you often address as given the President misleading advices. Please take into consideration that you have your own views, perspectives and perceptions and so do other Nigerians. You do not have all the facts on a given issue or multifaceted problems affecting Nigeria therefore to use the word misleading is to claim that your worldview is ''leading'' panacea.
''I’ve been on several television and radio interviews in the past one week and the commonest question is on the performance of our President''. @DELEMOMODU
This is ridiculous. Is there any administration since the creation of our geopolitical entity Nigeria that does not have issues of performance, perception and critical question being asked? It is a common phenomenon and denominator in the psychological modulation and critical mindset of Nigerians, we critique our government daily without any sound premises on which to rest our claims because we often times refuse to ask or answer fundamental questions of ontology as it affect our behaviour/us as citizens. It takes two to tango.
In my own opinion the statement/quote above from @DELEMOMODU is a red herring and of no quantum significance since every administration in Nigeria historiographically speaking always has perception problem that in most cases have nothing to do with its intrinsic nature or performance rather what we have in respect of perceptions on the side of the citizenry versus government are attitudinal, social and functional distrust phenomena based on history of neglect by previous administrations. It is an ingrained psychological mindset.

You are entitled to your honest views @DELEMOMODU but there are no absolute truth within the purview of opinions because they are always an individualistic narratives. WHO IS MISLEADING PRESIDENT BUHARI?
