Pardon me my fellow Nigerians with the title of this piece, its significance reflects the need to keep our culture alive coupled with the import of the intrinsic messages they capture. As we are all aware the events of the past weeks in the National Assembly (Senate) and The Code of Conduct Tribunal (Trial of @Bukolasaraki) have left an indelible mark (+_) in the psyche of politically active Nigeriana and I am happy to see citizens mobilization and participation in effecting change that truncated the evil attempt by corrupt senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from cannibalizing The Code of Conduct Tribunal Act and The Administration of Criminal Justice Act. This gallantry of our politically savvy citizens is a manifestation of the empirical fact that democracy is well, alive and here to germinate in our clime. Kudos to you all.
''Ori mi gbe mi'' This is a statement reflecting human predestination in Yoruba anthropology or cosmological worldview, a magnification of an individual character often called upon to shepherd and protect one from evil machinations. Therefore, if an individual repeatedly fall prey to evil deeds such person is called upon to appease his/her Ori (Destiny) because a disalignment with Ori automatically results in an unbalanced personality.
This preamble leads me to my focal of ruminations recently concerning the trial of @bukolasaraki and the persecution syndrome argumentation posited by himself and supporters alike. Let me say here that I am not a fan of conspiracy theory and those theorizing along that path are only producing a ludicrous exaggeration and pseudo-hypotheses that contradict the prevailing facts of a prima facie case. Most Nigerians don't give a hoot about their pseudo-hypotheses.
When Ori deserts an individual then he/she is on a collision course with his/her Eleda with the implication that he/she repeatedly fall prey to the vice of usurpation and all other human frailty and inadequacies starting on the threshold of perishment.
The moment morality and ethical values are thrown overboard for buckpassing and political expediency then what we are saying in fact is that the conceptualization of good and evil in our society have been reduced to emptiness on a template of pervasion of our sense of meaning. This is what @bukolasaraki and his supporters are presenting to us on a virtual tablet of persecution syndrome.
This to me is a perverted mindset in media hypocrisy ( A Candid Response From @BukolaSaraki To @DeleMomodu) that has arrogated to evil the nomenclature good in other to give a semblance of justification to why he is being subjected to judicial investigation and trial in a case of false assets declaration and anticipatory falsification of assets documentation. Please do not forget #panamapapers.
I do not see here a consientious mindset that is conscious of the implications or willing to understand the gravity of the charges presented against him in court rather he engaged in spraying breadcrumb to various online media to spread propaganda of persecution while at the same time blaming the same outlet of deliberate attempt to paint him black, again disalignment with Ori automatically resulting in an unbalanced personality.
Here Hegel philosophical insight would be appropriate "The subjective right of self-consciousness to know whether an action is truly good or evil in character must not be thought of as colliding with the absolute right of the objectivity...of such action'' (Emphasis mine) Hegel philosophy of Right. My takeaway here is that fraudulent and criminal actions levelled against @Bukolasaraki, even if he sees/saw them from a corrupt subjective particularistic perspective that they are right and good actions that do not require any prosecution because of his ''contributions'' via party political shenanigans that led to APCNigeria winning the election. I say vehemently that he is wrong and morally repugnant.
It is important to be mindful of the fact that such actions (Shenanigans) performed by @Bukolasaraki during electioneering for APCNigeria do not diminish the intrinsic evil character of fraud, criminal actions and related vices levelled against him as being objectively wrong, evil and bad, same with the usurpation of the senate presidency which is fundamentally a coup d'etat.
The externalization of grand larceny via continuous payment of salary by kwara state government while he is no longer a bonafide governor of the state is a manifestation of the fact that he has not learned what Yoruba called (Iwa Pele) a higher ethical law of virtue infinitely higher in human ethical paradigm that only an individual with good Ori can have because it is an endowment of rectitude and exceptionality.
You cannot give what you dont have if you do not have Ori or your Ori has deserted you as an individual then you would be on a collision course with your Eleda with the implication that you will repeatedly fall prey to the vice of usurpation and all other human frailty and inadequacies putting you always on the treshold of perishment.
