PARANOIA: TOWARDS A STATE OF CHAOS IN EKITI STATE.
There are elemental physical manifestations of aggravated paranoid behaviours perceptible in the personage(s) of our scandalous theatrics #Ekitigate conundrum; namely persecution complex and exaggerated self importance, which are aspects of chronic personality disorder.
I have said it previously that if an issue is beyond melodrama or crying, you make light jokes of it; because it is of no signification being melodramatic over spilled beans.
A schizophrenic governor in a political tango dance with an opponent that is psychologically traumatised with a deal that left him hollow and pyrrhic would be a dance into abyss if commonsense becomes uncommon.
Please, note that we are living in a geopolitical commune wherein disagreements are interpreted as do or die affairs: an ego tripping, ego centric cosmological mentality predicated on scorched-earth policy instrumentarium.
The battle line has been drawn. The trojan horses are working overtime, Magistrates, Hoodlums; Ekiti State is at the end of a precipice.
The gladiators are getting ready for a violent confrontation. Let us hope this impending disaster would not come to pass.
I do not need to remind Governor Ayo Fayose about the consequencies of the violent eruption of Mount Etna neither do I need to trigger his subconsiousness to the reality of his past misadventurism in political violence cum maladministration, that led to ''Olurinfication'' Tunji Olurin sole administratorship of Ekiti State during ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo dispensation.
The atmosphere in Ekiti state remain charged as a result of the revelations that came to the fore in the interview granted by Dr. Temitope Aluko, the call to violent posturing, disturbances, that can breach the peace and tranqulity cum public order must be eschewed forthwith.
Ekigate: Tope Aluko Alleges Plot To Burn His Properties -http://abusidiqu.com/ekigate-tope-aluko-alleges-plot-to-burn-his-properties
Ayo Fayose must stop any attempt at burning properties of Dr. Temitope Aluko in Ekiti State or anywhere in Nigeria. The law is very clear on the implication/punishment for Arson, the willful and malicious burning of someone else's dwelling or properties.
Criminal Code Act
440. Chapter 41 Definitions An act which causes injury to the property of another, and which is done without his consent, is unlawful, unless it is authorised or justified or excused by law.
443. Chapter 42 Offences Any person who wilfully and unlawfully sets fire to any of the following things-
(a) any building or structure whatever, whether completed or not;
If found guilty of a felony you might be liable to imprisonment for fourteen years.
The onus is on the Governor to do his best by appealing to the crowd to eschew violence, to calm political tensions and prevent or avoid any inflammatory remarks coming from officials within his administration or supporters.
If the news coming out of Ekiti State is correct that a Magistrate has issued warrant of arrest against him Dr. Temitope Aluko for alleged perjury then let us wait for the judicial process rather than adopting jungle justices that might have grievious consequencies for Governor Ayo Fayose himself.
Note: Dr. Temitope Aluko is/was making a valid point of law in his interview the previous night on Channelstv about the election rigging in Ekiti State and the roles of perpetrators/conspirators involved in this show of shame.
He never excused himself from culpability, he agreed/said during the interview that he is/was one of the several individuals who played a prominent role(s) on that day of infamy.
No need to engage in self help, the authorities in charge are aware of the facts of this case and certainly action(s) would be taken accordingly.
The whole saga is in the public domain and my sincere sermonization to the parties and their supporters is to tarry a while and allow constituted authorities to do their job in the interest of peace and tranquility in Ekiti State.
Two wrongs don't make a right, Ayo Fayose should know better by now.
