HERMENEUTICS OF KUKAH'S DISCOURSE.

Proverbs 2:20-21 - So you will walk in the way of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will inhabit the land, and those with integrity will remain in it …

Proverbs 28:18 - Whoever walks in integrity will be delivered, but he who is crooked in his ways will suddenly fall.

"It is what happens when we sit on that seat and the pressures to do good, to help in the name of in-laws, schoolmates, traditional or religious rulers, and so on take their toll; when they offer you their daughters because you are now a minister, these are the pressures..."-KUKAH

I wonder if this statement is a justification for corruption and corruption related misadventures, or a religious sermonization to be our brother’s keeper even if it has an element of corrupt involvement.

The responses of people are inversely proportional to their relationship with the messenger, so are the reactions of receivers varies in relationship to the messages being received, even if they are receiving the same messages at the same time.

Kukah's narrative, presented itself as a religious absolutism or an all knowing ''epistemological doctrine" which preclude the concept of doubt when it comes to corruption and how the government should go about handling the anti-corruption "war".

Kukah has become God personified, an all knowing catholic priest with a penchant for defending corrupt politician.  According to Kukah "Jonathan is a former President and if he needs shelter, his brother former presidents are there and alive" what is he suggesting here if i may ask?

He cocooned himself in self delusion as a priest and a member of the so called peace committee, brandishing the word persecution with a theologian misrepresentation. who is persecuting who? where is the evidence of the so called persecution?

The man needs to tell us what he knows, his presentation gave one the feelings that maybe he has more knowledge of what transpired during the administration of Jonathan, he may be the purveyor of Jonathan's cooking ingredients of corruption Edikaikon soup.

NO DISRESPECT TO MY IBIBIO BROTHERHOOD AND SISTERHOOD.

He talks about persecution rather than prosecution, he is not an honest broker here, rather he is a man with a Jonathanian agenda. What has taken over KUKAH's sense of critical self doubt? What if, the narrative of the dichotomy between knowing and believing something is the case.

What gives him the absolute certainty that Jonathan has done nothing wrong while in office, maladministration and corruption wise. we are not talking about God here KUKAH, neither are we talking about the existence of God since these are problematic philosophical question.

The point of discourse here is the unprecedented level of looting, corruption and maladministration under the leadership of Monsieur Jonathan a la PDP and the facts are as factual as snow monsignor KUKAH.

This is not about the language of belief, rather it is a legalistic determinism THE RULE OF LAW predicated on a pluralistic perspective and that is what @mbuhari and most Nigerians stand for. Jonathan will have his days in court.

KUKAH: mellow down your rhetoric, because you do not have a universal claim to piety. Corruption is evil and we must kill corruption.
