@APCNIGERIA, @PDPNIGERIA : A QUESTION OF POLITICAL ARCHITECTURE.
Nigeria is a creation of the British colonialist, It is an exsistential historical fact. Nigeria is a geopolitical entity with multiplicity of nations and diverse cultural heritage.
The multiplicity of nationality and cultural diversity orchestrated our political plurality with inherent conflict of interest in the realm of resource distribution cum political hegemony, at various strata of governance.
Karl Marx claims society is in a state of perpetual conflict due to competition for limited resources. A typical case is Nigeria.
According to Hegel "An event, a situation which has been produced, is a concrete external actuality which because of its concreteness has into it an indeterminable mutiplicity".
The concrete reality that we all come to accept over time, is the realization that Nigeria has indeterminable multiplicity of conflicts with various factors, actors and spectators, one of such conflicts is the political contest for leadership and governance of the above mentioned geopolitical space between the @apcnigeria and @pdpnigeria.
The political architecture has created a conflict model, here I would like to vividly say that the definition of conflict is not very concise but for the purpose of this short piece, the word conflict would be use to mean conflict of ideas and the frequency of such exchanges of ideas in generating agreement and disagreement between both political parties.
According to Cornel West ''Quality leadership is neither the product of one great individual nor the result of old historical accident" therefore conflict of ideas comes from deeply bred tradition (EMPHASIS MINE).
The conflict we witness within our geopolitical architecture comes from deeply bred traditions of antagonism based on ideas predicated on intra class interest and hegemony, that is why we see an overbearing influence of manipulation of the human actions of the electorate.
Conflict theory holds that social order is maintained by domination and power, rather than consensus and conformity, evidently a given that we vividly observed in the struggle for power between @apcnigeria and @pdpnigeria.
The conflict is not about irreconcilable ideological differences or goals for the betterment of the masses rather it is a conflict within the geopolitical architecture, an intra class contest to have control of our commonwealth and political hegemony, It is not a class conflict within the orthodoxy of the concept.
A geopolitical architecture that is predicated on winner takes all philosophy is bound to produce manipulative actors with the willingness and zeal to do anything to take control of leadership and governance.
Nigerians the conflict between @apcnigeria and @pdpnigeria is not about you, but about political hegemony. We need to adopt a revolutionary methodology to bring the required change to our geopolitical architecture as a country, the youth must be at the vanguard of this revolutionary change.
According to John F. Kennedy "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
Nigerians wake up rise to the occassion and defend your democracy. The youth of Nigeria wake up rise to the occassion and defend your future.
